Garrett is from Findlay, Illinois. He graduated with his bachelors in exercise science from Millikin University and a masters in Athletic Training from University of Illinois, Springfield. Garrett has worked in the Industrial Setting for 1 year at Caterpillar (Decatur, IL Plant) while also providing local high school game coverage part-time during the school year. He also provides game/practice coverage for Millikin University when needed.
